Enoch City amends unlawful-parking rule, lowers penalty to infraction

Enoch City Council approved Ordinance No. 2026-06-17 to amend Section 11.300.344 (Unlawful Parking). The ordinance removes the 10 p.m.–5 a.m. on-street time restriction, clarifies road-width and fire-lane access requirements, and lowers the penalty for unlawfully parking a commercial vehicle from a Class B misdemeanor to an infraction subject to a fine.
City Manager Ryan Robinson said the amendment is intended primarily to address winter snow-removal needs. Police Chief Jackson Ames described an enforcement approach that would emphasize education and warnings before issuing citations and said towing would be used only after repeated violations.
Council Member Shawn Stoor moved to adopt the ordinance; Council Member Kimberlee Trower seconded and the motion passed by roll-call vote.
