Valley View council sends proposed 2027 tax budget to county fiscal officer

During the meeting’s public comment period, resident Bronza asked about a separate local income-tax rebate program for Chagrin Guide properties, describing a 25% rebate on the village’s 2% payroll tax and asking for clarification of the rebate’s term and calculations.
The council’s vote to transmit the budget followed a public hearing on the proposed document. No formal changes to the proposed budget were made at the July 7 meeting; the item was recorded as sent "as received." The council did not set a final adoption date during the meeting.
