Dr. Scott presented the policies to the board and read the policy identifiers, including IGAJRL (driver's education), IGBARL (programs for students with disabilities and online/virtual school), JCRL (school attendance areas), JCJRL (classroom assignments for twins), JECR (school admission regulation), JEGRL (exclusion/exemption for school attendance), JFCDRL (weapons on school properties), JFCIRL (substance abuse student assistance program) and JJAGRL (student-athlete extreme heat safety protection). After the presentation the board moved, seconded and approved the policies as presented by voice vote.
Board chair Jesse declared the motion carried. The transcript does not show individual roll-call tallies for the policy adoptions; approval was recorded by unanimous "ayes" on voice vote.
