The Town of Holland’s electors approved the town’s 2024 financial report at the annual meeting on April 15, 2025. Clerk-Treasurer Janelle Kaiser presented the audit conducted by Corson, Peterson, and Hamann, S.C., and electors passed the report by a 9-0 show-of-hands vote after a motion from Craig Droppers and a second from Roy Teunissen.
Kaiser reviewed election administration and town office matters earlier in the meeting, noting the town’s use of the Badger Books electronic poll-book system and record in-person absentee turnout in November. "Election equipment is tested prior to each election and members of the public are welcome to observe," she said, describing procedures meant to ensure transparency.
The meeting also adopted the agenda (motion by Supervisor Stanley Lammers, supported by Roy Teunissen) and approved the April 15, 2025 minutes after a recommended abbreviated reading; the minutes motion passed by unanimous voice vote. Chair David Huenink reminded electors that statutory rules limit the scope of actions at an annual meeting and explained voting methods and voter eligibility for electors of the Town of Holland.
The meeting set the next annual town meeting for 7:30 p.m. on April 21, 2026, at the Holland Town Hall. The meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
