Plan Commission recommends approval of Brandon flag‑lot minor division

The Town of Holland Plan Commission on April 7 recommended that the Holland Town Board approve a minor land division for Danielle Brandon to create a 3.53‑acre flag lot and a 3.47‑acre parcel.
The commission’s recommendation, moved by Bryan Kaiser and seconded by Jack Stokdyk, was unanimous on roll call. The approval is contingent on receipt of a signed and recordable certified survey map matching the draft and including required language from Town Code Chapter 220‑15F, receipt of full legal descriptions for the existing and proposed parcels, Holland Town Board and Sheboygan County approvals, and relocation or removal of an existing accessory building to meet setbacks.
Chair David Huenink recorded that the conditions are intended to ensure the subdivision meets town standards before the Town Board acts. The applicant’s flag‑lot configuration and the accessory‑building setback issue were discussed as part of the recommended conditions.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the Holland Town Board for final action. No public comments were offered during the hearing on the Brandon request.
