ELKTON, Md. — The Town of Elkton Board of Zoning Appeals on Jan. 22 postponed a variance request for 224 Courtney Drive to its Feb. 19, 2026 meeting after the applicants did not appear.
Case #1674, filed by Joe and Beverly Barren, sought a variance for a 6‑foot side yard setback in the R‑2 (suburban residential) zone. No one appeared to present the request at the Jan. 22 hearing.
Mr. Finley moved to postpone consideration of the variance to the Feb. 19 meeting; Ms. Schwartz seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
