Town reviews FY25–26 budget calendar, upcoming events and flood resilience grant

Town Administrator Rod Barnes reviewed the proposed FY25–26 annual budget approval calendar and proposed dates for upcoming meetings in February and March. Barnes also briefed the council on final planning for the Bridging Communities Celebration of Culture on Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Barnes said staff were assembling recreation programming funded by a grant from County Chair Ivey and described a UMD EFC Port Towns grant to develop a flood resilience plan for the Port Towns.
