Trustees asked about the procurement process and whether quotes from multiple independent vendors had been solicited; administration and the district’s audit firm representative said the managed‑service partner provided comparable quotes from three manufacturers and that the approach is consistent with the district’s procurement practice and grant guidance. Board members suggested the district explore consortium purchasing with nearby districts in future procurement cycles to increase buying power.
After discussion the board moved, seconded and approved the device refresh resolution by roll call. Administration said it will finalize the model, confirm end‑of‑life dates and begin device setup over the summer.
