The Town of Elkton Historic District Commission on March 26 approved exterior alterations at 170 W. Main Street proposed by Premier State Investments.
Dominique Frederic, representing the applicant, told the commission the project would add black fascia to the back of Unit 109A, replace the existing double doors on the side and rear of the building with new double doors, and install an awning on the rear. "We would like to add black fascia to the back of 109A and replace the current double doors with new double doors and add an awning," Frederic said.
Commissioner Brandon Boas expressed support for the updates. After a brief discussion with no further public comment, the commission moved to approve the application. The approval was recorded during the meeting and the commission proceeded to the next agenda item.
The decision authorizes only the elements presented to the commission; any exterior work beyond what was described would require a separate application. The commission reviews projects under the Town of Elkton ordinances and considers each application on its own merits.
