The Danvers Council on Aging heard May 21 that the senior center’s Transportation Revolving account has a balance of $100,718.54 and is expected to receive more than $27,000 in TNC (ride-share) funds approved at the recent Town Meeting.
Matthew Mitchell, director of Senior and Social Services, reported the figure during the board’s fiscal update. He said the TNC allocation — money collected from Uber and Lyft — was approved at Monday’s town meeting and the funds are expected to arrive soon.
Mitchell also said the DCOA Program Revolving account stands at $353,782.12 and that program operations are “on pace” with last year’s performance. He described the program account as effectively breaking even year to date.
The board noted the accounts while dealing with other business; because there was no quorum, formal acceptance of minutes and any vote on fiscal items was postponed to the June 18 meeting.
