Brodhead OKs hiring Ehlers to create proposed TID #9; developer to share study cost

The Brodhead Common Council voted on Jan. 20 to retain Ehlers & Associates to prepare materials for a proposed Tax Incremental District (TID) #9.
Dave Ferris of Ehlers, participating virtually, outlined the phases and costs of the TID creation and said the developer would contribute half the consultant cost. Ferris also suggested the council consider an extension to the existing TID #6 as part of the financing strategy.
Alder Gritzmaker moved to retain Ehlers & Associates and Alder Burkhalter seconded; the motion passed with all ayes recorded.
