Bethel Park board approves two personnel appointments and 2026–27 salary items

The Bethel Park School Board voted unanimously to approve three personnel items, including the appointment of Jade Fiore as executive director of special education and student support services and the hire of Abigail Hippkins as a special education teacher at Bethel Park High School.

A presenter read Fiore’s five‑year appointment, which is subject to final contract review by the solicitor, and summarized her credentials, saying Fiore’s background includes certifications in special education and prior roles as director of pupil services in Chartiers Valley, West Jefferson Hills and Pittsburgh Public Schools. Committee member Mister McGregor moved the grouped motion, and Missus Janicek seconded; a roll‑call vote recorded eight yes votes and no dissent.
