Board to consider GEI seawall design contract ($251,450) and Pavement Management Group road assessment ($15,375) on March 23

At the March 9 work session staff recommended two capital consulting agreements for the board to consider on March 23.
For the Mamaroneck Harbor seawall project, staff said they reviewed six proposals with the village consultant H2N and selected GEI Consultants as most qualified and lowest cost. "The total cost of the selected proposal is $251,450," staff said, noting the work will be partially funded by a state grant with a 25% local match and that the proposal meets MWBE requirements in the grant agreement. Scope included planning, engineering, design, surveys, utility mapping and permit/bid documentation for approximately 1.5 miles of seawall between the East and West basins.
On pavement management, staff recommended contracting Pavement Management Group for a villagewide conditions assessment and prioritized rehabilitation recommendations, at a proposed cost of $15,375. Staff said the consultant uses video-driven inspections with AI-assisted condition scoring and will supply a GIS layer for village integration.
Both items were discussed and placed on the March 23 consent/authorization list for the board's formal action.
