Weyauwega council clears licenses and permits for businesses and upcoming events

The Weyauwega Common Council approved a slate of permits and licenses on Aug. 19, clearing applications for local businesses and upcoming community events.
On separate motions the council approved sign permits for Nayarit Market Mexico II (129 E. Main St.) and Lennon Holdings LLC (108 E. Ann St.). Council members also approved a Class A Combination Liquor and Malt Beverage Retailers License and a Cigarette, Tobacco and Electronic Vaping Device Retail License for SG Petroleum’s LLC at 706 N. Mill St., and approved a Class A beer license for Nayarit Market Mexico LLC. All motions were moved by Chris Gunderson with seconders as recorded and carried with five ayes, zero nays.
The council granted operator licenses for Carly Zingler, Christian Behm and Carrie Beyer for T’s Corner Bar. It also approved a Temporary Class B Retailers License for the Waupaca County Fair (Aug. 21–25) and granted a Temporary Class B Retailer’s License for the Weyauwega Chamber for Horse & Buggy Days, in addition to approving the Horse & Buggy Days parade and street-use permit for Sept. 13–14.
Motions to approve the permits and licenses were recorded individually in the minutes; all carried with five ayes and zero nays. The minutes do not record substantive debate or conditions attached to the licenses at the meeting.
