Councilmember Pat Gorchals moved to approve Rennicke’s resignation; Councilmember Shani Appleby seconded the motion. The motion carried with all ayes. The council recorded that, under the terms of a separation agreement, Rennicke will receive three months of salary as part of the separation.
The council said it will discuss options for filling the City Administrator position during its next meeting in a closed session on July 15, 2024. No further details about recruitment timelines or interim staffing were provided at the special meeting.
