The Town of Estill Council unanimously approved the second reading of the FY2025–2026 Operating and Capital Budget at a special called meeting on June 26, 2025.
Mayor Corrin F. Bowers opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m., after which Councilman James Williams gave the invocation and the group recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The clerk recorded those present: Mayor Corrin F. Bowers; Mayor Pro‑Tem Tammy Solomon; Councilman Joe N. Hadwin Jr.; Councilwoman Synetria McQuire; Councilman James Williams; Town Administrator Joshua Richardson; and Clerk Treasurer Edna O'Banner.
When Mayor Bowers asked for a motion on the budget’s second reading, Councilman Joe N. Hadwin Jr. moved to approve it and Mayor Pro‑Tem Tammy Solomon seconded. The council voted 5–0 in favor, approving the FY2025–2026 Operating and Capital Budget on second reading.
Earlier in the meeting the council also voted 5–0 to approve the special called meeting agenda; no members of the public spoke during the public‑comment period. Mayor Bowers then asked for a motion to adjourn; Councilman James Williams moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Joe N. Hadwin Jr., and the council voted 5–0. The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
The minutes for the June 26, 2025 special called meeting were recorded and adopted, with signatures on the adoption block.
