Finance committee moves six procurement items to the full Centennial School District board

During its June 11 meeting the Centennial School District finance committee read and voted to forward six procurement items to the full board for consideration.
The items read into the record and moved to the board included: a furniture bid with combined award to Kurtz Brothers and WB Mason totaling $26,001.94; an art-supply aggregate award to multiple vendors of $52,061.17; an award for food-service chemicals to Crystal Chemical to cover the 2026–27 through 2028–29 school years at an estimated cost to the district of about $12,000 per year; an athletic equipment and supplies aggregate award totaling $27,002.82; a repair parts and accessories multi-vendor award for vehicle and equipment parts covering several vendors for the 2026–27 through 2028–29 school years; and a stock-supply award to several vendors with an aggregate amount of $23,000.63.
Committee member Mister Hartline moved to send the six items to the full board for consideration; Missus Crossen seconded the motion. The committee approved moving the items by voice vote.
The committee asked staff to be available to answer questions at the board meeting and to ensure register entries identify when purchases were previously board-approved; staff earlier noted a $94,000 VX hardware purchase was approved at the Feb. 24 board meeting and recommended including board-approval references in AP descriptions for traceability.
Those items will appear on the agenda of the full board for formal action. The finance committee’s next scheduled meeting is Sept. 10, 2026.
