The Oscoda Township Board of Trustees voted unanimously Aug. 27 to offer the township manager position to Adam T. Kline, contingent on an employment contract that sets terms of employment and on completion of required background checks.
Nicole Tregear, supervisor, moved to offer the post; Clerk Heather Alba Tait supported the motion. The motion as recorded in the meeting minutes states that the offer is "pending completion of an employment contract setting forth the terms of his employment and the requisite background checks." The board recorded seven yeas and no nays; the motion carried.
Board members listed as present for the special meeting at Robert J. Parks Library included Ms. McGuire, Mr. Wygant, Mr. Linderman, Ms. Tait (Clerk), Mr. Cummings and Ms. Fortner. The clerk recorded no public comment during the meeting.
