"We don't want that on a billboard to jeopardize us as a company or the landowners or anyone in Jones County," the presenter said.
Board members questioned the size and clearances; staff confirmed the application shows roughly 340 square feet (below the 400-square-foot limit), an 18-foot ground clearance and a 35-foot overall height. A commissioner moved to approve the conditional use; the motion was seconded and carried, and the application will be considered by the county commissioners at their July 7 meeting.
