Hainesport board ratifies hires, extra‑curricular appointments and multiple field trips

Multiple leaves of absence and modified schedules were recorded on the agenda and ratified where indicated.
The board also ratified several professional development site visits, including HMH site visits and workshops on grant writing and the topic "Bringing AI Into the Classroom." Separately, the board ratified a slate of field trips for grade levels K–8, including Dorney Park for Grade 8, Medieval Times for Grade 7, Kimmel Center for Grade 4 band, Six Flags for grades 7–8 and Adventure Aquarium for kindergarten. Approvals of facility use were noted as contingent on receipt of proper documentation and proof of insurance.
