A fire department representative reported, “We had 22 calls for the month,” and announced a community fish fry on April 3 from 4 to 8 p.m., training with the Tishigan Fire Company and planning for the June 27 rodeo. The department is working on EMT recertification and exploring software to track inspections and training records.
A police representative thanked BRT Services for “their generous donation for the motorcycle program,” summarized traffic enforcement (citing multiple traffic citations and enforcement actions) and listed recent mutual-aid responses to neighboring jurisdictions.
Public works reported routine maintenance, equipment preventive maintenance and completion of the MS4 report for 2025. Library staff said the library had more than 3,000 patron visits year-to-date, is hiring two clerks and plans summer reading kickoff events and other programming.
No formal board action resulted from the reports; items were informational and were forwarded to the record.
