Big Bend board approves minutes, bills and operator licenses

At its regular meeting the Village Board voted to approve the Jan. 8 Village Board minutes and the Jan. 29 public hearing minutes (with a clerk note that Planning Commission approval is required before public release). The board approved accounts payable totaling $171,066.50 (items dated Jan. 21 and Feb. 5) and moved on to licensing matters.
Trustee motions and seconders set routine approvals in motion. The board approved new operator licenses for applicants including David Solzwillski (Designer Coach Shamrock) and Jesse Probst Jr. and Alexis Hart (Quick Trip) following police background checks; the police report indicated no criminal history that would block licensing. The board also renewed operator licenses for Papa Stache, Pavan Eatery, Kelly Lechance and Taylor Borsch after background checks returned clear.
Motions to approve minutes, bills and licenses were made, seconded and carried by voice vote during the meeting. The clerk noted that minutes from the Planning Commission must be approved by that commission before the minutes are released publicly.
