The Village Board approved several routine administrative items on April 2, including the March 5 minutes, editorial corrections to a published notice, and accounts payable totaling $171,385.27.
The board approved two batches of invoices presented for payment — an accounts-payable batch dated March 18, 2026, for $86,186.94 and another batch listed for April 2 for $85,198.33 — and adopted payment of the combined total. “I’ll make a motion to approve the accounts payable for the full total of $171,385.27,” a trustee said; another trustee seconded the motion and the board voted to carry it.
During review of the draft notice and minutes, members identified spelling and formatting errors that were corrected before finalization. The board voted to approve the corrected notice as amended.
The board also appointed Derek to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission after Dan Majeski withdrew for family and business reasons. The board said it was gathering information on candidates and noted that committee assignments may change after the upcoming election; the motion to appoint Derek carried.
The board set its next meeting for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026.
