North Babylon board approves personnel actions, appointment and labor agreements

At its June meeting the North Babylon Union Free School District Board of Education approved a series of routine personnel and labor-agreement items, including a personnel action report, the appointment of a medical examiner for a 9‑13 exam, a contract with Teamsters Local 237 representing registered nurses, and a memorandum of agreement for the psychologists unit.

The board voted to approve the personnel action report for schedules A, B and C dated June 11, 2026; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The chair then invited newly appointed staff to stand for recognition.

Separately, the board approved an omnibus motion covering items a through o by voice vote. The board then approved the motion to appoint Dr. Alan Stempler to conduct a required 9‑13 exam.

The board also approved a contract agreement with Teamsters Local 237 for the registered nurses unit and approved a memorandum of agreement for the psychologists unit; each motion was seconded and carried on voice votes.
