The Kenosha County Judiciary and Law Enforcement Committee on Wednesday approved a resolution appointing John Delphart to serve on the joint services board.
The chair introduced agenda item 6 as "a resolution to approve the appointment of John Delphart" and recorded a motion to approve the appointment and a second. The chair stated there were ayes and declared the motion passed. The chair attributed the motion to a supervisor identified during roll call as Daniel Gashke; the chair referred to the mover aloud as "Supervisor Gasky." The chair said the second came from Supervisor Keith Gray.
The appointment was approved by voice vote; the chair announced the motion passes. No public comments or substantive debate on the appointment were recorded during the meeting.
Earlier in the meeting the chair called the roll at 06:45, noting the presence of Jared doctor; Daniel Gashke; Laura Belsky; Keith Gray; and Luke Pollock, and said that Cerise and Emily, youth in governance, were not present. The chair also said the committee will meet on July 1 because of an item being referred to committee that night.
After completing agenda business, a supervisor moved to adjourn, another supervisor seconded, the chair called the voice vote, and the committee adjourned.
