During its Dec. 16 meeting the Hainesport Township Board of Education approved a set of human‑resources and extracurricular items, including resignations, a retirement, a new hire and several professional‑development and curriculum visits.
The Human Resources committee listed a resignation for a preschool coordinator (ID #2086), effective Jan. 19, 2026, and the retirement of Patricia Gwynne, Confidential Administrative Assistant to the Business Administrator, effective June 30, 2026. The board also listed and approved a new hire: Danielle Haversang as a TAG teacher (1.0 FTE) effective Jan. 12, 2026, and approved a lateral salary movement for Karina McNulty (MA-16 to MA-16+12 effective Jan. 1, 2026).
Multiple professional development and curriculum‑visit items were presented and ratified, including Common Lit curriculum visits, CKLA visits, Benchmark Reading visits and algebra curriculum work. The board also ratified extracurricular assignments, notably approving Eric Spinelli for the flag football position for spring 2026. The Human Resources action items were subject to roll‑call votes recorded on the agenda and motions were carried.
These approvals were presented as personnel and program items on the HR agenda and will be implemented by building leaders and the superintendent’s office in keeping with certification and background‑check requirements.
