At its May 5 meeting, the Hainesport Township Board of Education approved multiple personnel and finance items recommended by the Superintendent.
Human Resources decisions: The board reappointed tenured and non‑tenured certificated staff and support staff for 2026–27, renewed the Treasurer contract for Donna Condo (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027), appointed crowd control personnel for the remainder of 2025–26 and listed summer hour assignments for staff. The board also listed a new hire, Saida Alvarenga, as a World Language teacher (1.0 FTE, Step 1, per the CBA) pending fingerprint clearance; resignations were recorded for staff including position ID #1922 (Special Education Teacher, effective 6/30/26).
Finance and contracts: The board approved the renewal of the contract with Brett DiNovi & Associates for 2026–27, retained Phoenix Advisors for continuing disclosure and municipal advisory services, approved an addendum to extend ESS Northeast, LLC for substitute staffing, and authorized a contract with Municipal Capital Finance for document copying and printing solutions at a monthly expense of $1,820.53, effective July 1, 2026. The board also approved a contract with Star Pediatric Home Care to provide nursing services for student #13527 for 2026–27.
Why it matters: These approvals shape staffing levels, vendor relationships and services available to students next school year. The new World Language hire is contingent on fingerprint and required certification, and the copying contract establishes a recurring monthly operational cost to the district.
Next steps: The district will complete hiring contingencies and execute contracts. Staff hires and renewals will proceed subject to certification and criminal history review as noted in board approval language.
