At its May 19 meeting the Hainesport Township Board of Education approved several finance and facilities actions to close the 2025–26 fiscal year and set contracts for 2026–27.
The board named Holt McNally & Associates as the district auditors for 2026–27 as presented by Finance/Facilities/Technology Committee Chair Shelby Maccar and certified required monthly financial reports. The board also approved NutriServe Food Management Inc. to operate the district’s food-service program for one year with a management fee of $28,485 and included language that two remaining one‑year renewal options are available.
In budget adjustments, the board approved transferring surplus of $67,789 and recognizing unbudgeted/underbudgeted revenue of $30,391.54 to support the 2025–2026 budget, and separately approved a transfer of $53,336.49 from Maintenance Reserve to the General Fund to support required maintenance. The agenda cites the transfers as in accordance with applicable New Jersey Administrative Code provisions (6A:23A‑13.3 and 6A:23A‑14.2).
Other approved items included authorization to use an online auction website for purchasing electricity supply services, an interlocal services agreement with Northern Burlington Regional School District for IT services for 2026–27, scholarship payments, and a private‑provider contract with Future Scholars for two PEA classrooms in 2026–27. The board also approved a renewal of occupational‑therapy services with Our Playground Therapy Services, LLC at no cost increase and authorized Thomas O’Reilly, MD/Medford Family Psychiatry LLC to provide psychiatric evaluations for 2026–27.
All finance action items presented (items #1–#24) were approved on roll call at the meeting. The agenda includes statutorily required financial certifications from the Business Administrator confirming that no line‑item accounts were over‑expended as of Dec. 31, 2025.
