At its meeting, the Broadwater County Planning Board voted to adopt amended bylaws that strike the term "secretary" from Article 4, subsection c and replace it with "administrative assistant." The motion was made by a board member and seconded; the board approved the change by voice vote and the chair said the motion carried.
Board members discussed whether the document should also address member conduct or attendance standards; one member suggested those items may require attorney advice. Members agreed to correct the document’s officer label and add signature pages. Planning staff noted the administrative assistant would ensure the corrected language is reflected and that the signature pages will be signed by the chair and vice chair with an understanding that minor typographic edits will be made before final retention.
The board did not debate additional substantive bylaw changes at length and moved on to other agenda items.
