Bolivar adopts $10,000 2026 contribution to Economic Development Partnership

Councilor (speaker 8) read Bill No. 2026-01 (Ordinance No. 4108), which, according to staff, authorizes a $10,000 cash contribution in 2026 plus small monthly fees for technical support for EDP staff. One board member noted that figure represents a cut from $50,000 provided in the prior year.
The Board proceeded to a second reading and the clerk called the roll. By a vote of seven ayes and zero nos the ordinance was adopted.
The ordinance and supporting materials were included in the meeting packet; the Board did not add conditions to the contribution during the work session.
