HPC asks Five Star Bank for more detail on proposed rear exterior design
Summary
At its Oct. 24 meeting, the HPC said a rear-exterior diagram from Five Star Bank lacked sufficient detail and asked CEO Chris Kinter to provide material samples, paint color names, and to consider a single solid color and removing the lattice before the commission will rule.

The HPC reviewed a rear-exterior design diagram from Five Star Bank at its Oct. 24 meeting in the Village Board Room and declined to make a decision pending more information. Chris Kinter, CEO of Five Star Bank, presented the diagram and schematic to the commission.
Commission members said the materials submitted did not include enough detail to assess compatibility. "We need to know the type of material being used," Linda Smith said, and members requested that a physical sample be mailed to the Village. Members also asked Five Star Bank to provide the exact paint color names and expressed a preference for a single solid color instead of the multi-color schematic shown. Several members asked whether the proposed lattice could be removed entirely.
The commission did not vote on the design; instead members requested the additional information so the item can be reconsidered. The meeting adjourned at 5:48 p.m. after a motion to adjourn by Linda Smith, seconded by Ian Mowatt; the motion was recorded as carried and no vote tally was specified in the transcript.
