Town Attorney Martha Brooke Perry told the commission she would review the resolution in light of the comment. Commissioner Charles Morehead moved to table Resolution 2026-221 until the March meeting so the attorney could address the concern; Commissioner Melissa McWright seconded. The motion carried with all commissioners present voting in favor.
The action pauses formal consideration of the proposed regulatory change while the attorney examines the caption and any related edits. The commission recorded the tabling as part of its regular agenda and expected the item to reappear at the March meeting for further discussion or action.
