Bolivar board approves several ordinances, equipment purchases and program selections

- Community Development annual report: Staff presented the department’s annual report covering planning and zoning, permits, MS4 stormwater work, building inspections, dangerous-building remediation and grant activity; the board approved the report by voice vote.
- Citywide cleanup: Board set the citywide pickup to begin April 27 and approved use of budgeted funds (staff cited a $14,500 budget line for dump fees and related costs).
- TAP engineering selection: Board approved continuing with Great River Engineering for TAP project phases 3 and 4 to maintain project cohesion.
- Pool variable-frequency drive: Board approved replacement through US Engineering to avoid delays for the upcoming swim season; staff expected a short delivery and installation turnaround.
- Unmanned aircraft (drone) policy: Board approved a community-development drone policy limited to marketing, asset documentation and limited emergency-management uses and explicitly excluding law-enforcement and code-enforcement use for now.
