- Vehicle lease-purchase agreements: The board authorized a lease-purchase agreement with Santander Bank for a 2026 Ford Maverick for the police department and a lease-purchase for a 2027 Western Star dump truck for public works; manager said vehicles are budgeted and will be bought out for $1 at lease end.
- Meeting schedule: The board moved the August 4 meeting to August 3 to accommodate National Night Out events.
- Disaster declaration: The board ratified a declaration of disaster/emergency so the township can pursue reimbursement if a state-level emergency is declared.
- Payment of bills: The board approved payment requests including checks on demand and township bills; the largest figure noted was $440,950.02 in township payments.
All of the above motions passed by voice vote unless a roll call was recorded in the transcript. The board also accepted the resignation of Supervisor Dr. Charles E. Stewart and initiated a public process to fill the vacancy within the statutory window.
