Organizers described logistics for vendor and customer parking, use of staging areas and coordination with the police and Department of Public Works. The Farmers' Market presenter proposed market hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and outlined potential vendor parking options; an organizer for a March rally said past visibility events drew as many as 600 people and asked the council for a registrant cap to help manage parking and safety.
The council moved, seconded and approved the consolidated motion; roll-call votes were recorded in favor.
