The Town of Hilton Head Island will host two public meetings today in the Benjamin M. Rachison Council Chambers at 1 Town Center Court: the Gullah Geechee Historic Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation at 10 a.m., followed by the Planning Commission at 2 p.m.
Both meetings will be carried in full on BCTV and simulcast on the town's YouTube channel, the broadcast said. Agenda packets are available on the town website.
The Planning Commission’s agenda includes two items of public interest: a street-name application to name an existing easement off 201 Wild Horse Road and a second street-name application for an access easement serving a Beaufort County tax-map parcel. The Planning Commission will consider both applications during its public hearing portion of the agenda.
Members of the public who wish to follow the meetings remotely may view the BCTV broadcast or the town's YouTube simulcast and consult the posted agenda packet for item details and any materials submitted by applicants.
The meetings were announced as part of the county news broadcast; the town’s website was listed as the source for full agenda packets.
