Chief Mager said the gift “will have a lasting impact helping to protect both firefighters and the systems we serve for years to come.”
The consent agenda also listed in‑kind donations of coffee and donuts to the police department from Dunkin’ Donuts, bakery items from Rise and Roll Bakery, and a $50 gift from the Hanover Schools Education Foundation. Clerk Treasurer Amber Sandberg presented claims and remittances across funds and detailed payroll and operating expenses.
Council approved the consent agenda by roll call vote, 7‑0. Council members and staff thanked donors and noted the donation would significantly support planned equipment and safety investments for the fire department.
