Committee weighs options for Kircher Park courts after high repair quote
Summary
The committee reviewed quotes and alternatives for Kircher Park tennis courts, including a previous Sport Court estimate of about $60,000, relocation, county re-blacktopping or converting the space to basketball. The item will be revisited after the CORP plan is available.

Chairman Blaine Werner said he had received a Munson quote for resurfacing or replacing the Kircher Park tennis courts that surprised him. Member Rachel Fuller suggested that relocating the courts might be a less costly option and that the committee should wait for the village's CORP plan before deciding.
DPW Director Peter Lederer said an older Sport Court quote he received a couple of years ago was for $60,000. Village President Duane Urbanski suggested the county could be asked to re-blacktop the courts or the committee could remove the fence and leave the area for basketball as less expensive alternatives.
The committee did not authorize construction or accept a specific bid; members agreed to keep the $60,000 Sport Court figure in mind and to reassess when the CORP plan and updated quotes are available.
