Random Lake Chamber outlines wayfinding sign plan; final approval set for April

John Rassel, representing the Random Lake Chamber of Commerce, told the Joint Beautification and Lake, Parks and Recreation committees that he does not yet have a draft wayfinding map but has identified categories of sites to include such as nonprofit organizations, parks, parking lots and social services.
Karen Schmitz asked whether salons would be listed; Rassel said he would inquire with salons as well as clinics, chiropractors and dentists about inclusion. Co-Chairman Rachel Fuller said the Lake, Parks and Recreation committee selected Bob McDermott Lakeview Park, Kircher Park, Bertram Park and Memorial Park as locations for proposed signs and said she prefers standalone signs to make them more visible. Rassel said he will provide final approval on the maps in April, and Fuller asked committee members to visit the parks and suggest exact sign placements.
Other Chamber-listed items on the agenda — bathroom advertising and parking passes — received no discussion during the meeting.
