Village assigns web, donation and outreach tasks for Library Bay; Zeffy selected for donations

At the Feb. 10 meeting, committee members assigned specific tasks to support fundraising and outreach for Library Bay.
Clerk/Treasurer Stephanie Waala was assigned to create a page and a button on the village website, provide pictures and updates, add a link to the Beautification page, meet with Collins State Bank about collecting donations and sign the village up for the selected online donation service. Waala reported that the village will use Zeffy as a free online donation service and that she will sign the village up.
Co‑Chairman Rachel Fuller was assigned to develop social media graphics and to create QR codes. Kelly was asked to obtain drone photographs of the bay. Member Erik Buchelt was assigned to identify a free online donation service (which Waala reported was completed) and to create lake thermometers. Village President Duane Urbanski was assigned to speak with Gary about potential advertisements.
Committee members discussed volunteer signup tasks and agreed to finalize task lists when project timelines are developed. The committees also noted a request to use Memorial Park and Jacoby Memorial Park for a July event and tasked Fuller to follow up with the railroad and Eric Rathke about scheduling.
