Hobart — At the start of the meeting the board considered petition 23‑12, a proposed 67‑lot subdivision known as Bickley Hollow. The petitioner described market improvement and presales and said the next step is purchasing the property outright and arranging infrastructure financing.
The petitioner noted engagements with Baker Tilly and a $156,000 payment indicating commitment to the project. Commissioner Marco Rodriguez recommended considering a one‑year extension to accommodate planning and council schedules, but board members moved and approved a six‑month extension. "You can always come back in six months," one commissioner said during debate.
Outcome: Motion to grant a six‑month extension was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote. The petitioner thanked the board and said he would return with progress updates.
