Town manager reports on SCADA, Primex quote and hires deputy town clerk

Town Manager Tim Stevens reported the town’s SCADA monitoring system is not currently included in the new construction project but that CMA has collected necessary monitoring points and will provide numbers for quotes; he noted the existing system runs on Windows XP and the town needs to determine required new hardware and licenses.
Tim also said Primex requested a CMA quote for a new UV building and the design work is not yet finalized; Selectboard member Greg Placy asked Tim to contact Paul Schmidt about CMA’s output and to press for results from Josh Bouchard prior to the Jan. 26 meeting. Tim told the board that CMA must be paid for December so the firm can request state reimbursement.
On personnel, the board approved hiring Jessica Lopes for the deputy town clerk position after she interviewed with staff; the minutes note she has a master's in environmental studies and GIS mapping and is computer-savvy.
