NH DES issues 'request for more information' on Aguirre file; Bristol commission to monitor response

The Bristol Conservation Commission reviewed a New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NH DES) "request for more information" letter dated Dec. 19, 2025 to applicant Mr. Aguirre concerning File #29994. NH DES listed nine items that the applicant must address by Feb. 20, 2026 or the application will be denied.
Commission members noted that item 7 explicitly requires the applicant to address comments previously offered to NH DES by the Bristol Conservation Commission on Dec. 16, 2025. The Commission said it appreciated the level of detail in the NH DES letter, citing the agency's attention to potential impacts to wetlands, floodplain, the Wellhead Protection area, and the Fowler River.
Janet Cote offered to draft an email to Mr. Faidell of NH DES to express appreciation for the Intervention follow-up and to request continued notice of new information or actions on the application. The Commission asked to remain updated on any progress or further submissions related to File #29994.
The NH DES action and the Feb. 20 deadline were the primary outstanding items identified for follow-up by Commission staff.
