At a July 8 special meeting the Planning and Zoning Commission approved several procedural actions, including appointing Ron Lindstrom to serve as "sheriff of tonight's meeting," approving minutes from the June 24 regular meeting and then adjourning.
Early in the meeting the Chair asked for a motion "to have Ron Lindstrom serve as sheriff of tonight's meeting." A motion and second were recorded and the commission voted affirmatively on roll call. The Clerk later asked for approval of the minutes from the June 24, 2026 meeting; the Chair moved approval and the Clerk seconded, and the minutes were approved by roll call.
At the close of business a motion to adjourn was made and seconded; roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative and the special meeting was adjourned. Names recorded responding in the roll calls included Bettenhausen, Brophy, Cole, Lanier, Lindstrom, Trevino and West.
No substantive debate, public testimony or evidence-taking occurred on these procedural items during the session.
