Board continues car-wash appeal to Sept. 15; July 21 meeting canceled

The Lower Makefield Township Zoning Hearing Board on July 7 voted to continue appeal Z25-48 (a proposed car wash at 1675 Yarley Langhorne Road) to Sept. 15 at the request of parties coordinating schedules. The motion to continue was moved, seconded and approved.
Audience member Robert Harmon asked whether pending issues would be pushed to September; township staff confirmed the parties, including the applicants attorney and the township solicitor, are coordinating a date convenient for all and that any revised plans or refreshed evidence would be heard when the case returns.
Because the car-wash item was continued and there were no other matters for the previously scheduled July 21 meeting, staff recommended and the board approved canceling that meeting; the board confirmed the next meeting is Aug. 4.
