According to materials referenced by the board, Delaware Engineering supervised construction and issued a memorandum dated May 27, 2026 finding the work satisfactory. The New York State Department of Health issued completed works approval for the water main on June 9, 2026 after receiving engineering certification and satisfactory bacteria tests. Plans for the project were prepared by Kaaterskill Associates and are referenced on the conditionally approved final plat from the Town of Catskill Planning Board.
Vice President Peter Grasse, Trustee Thomas Boomhower and Trustee Jamie Mitchell voted to adopt the resolution; President Natasha Law was listed as absent in the meeting attendance. The resolution states the dedication will be accepted immediately upon a majority vote of the board, subject to the stated conditions, and authorizes the Village President to execute legal instruments necessary to convey the water main to the village once final reviews are complete.
The acceptance extends public water infrastructure to a developer-built extension in the Town of Catskill and preserves the village’s standard review and operation requirements under its Water Rules and the intermunicipal agreement.
