The City of Stevens Point Airport Commission on June 8 approved the minutes from its April 13 meeting and approved department claims for April and May by voice vote.
The commission asked for changes to the April 13 minutes; a motion to approve was made and carried. Later the Chair called a motion to approve two sets of department claims (April and May); that motion also carried by voice vote.
Commissioners briefly discussed a damaged airport sign tied to line item 3165. A committee member asked whether anything happened to the sign; Jason, a staff member, said the sign was struck by lightning and that LED bulbs and fixtures were damaged.
The commission then moved to adjourn. A member was thanked for attendance, and staff noted videos of the meeting are available on the city's website, stevenspoint.com.
