Adams Township parks board approves minutes, hears updates on splash pad hiring and park projects

The Adams Township Parks and Recreation Board approved the minutes of its February meeting during a regular meeting on April 7, 2026, at the Adams Township Municipal Building.
Shelly Savoroski moved to approve the February minutes; Marilyn Watson seconded the motion, which was recorded as approved in the meeting minutes. The public-comment period produced no comments.
Brian Perry, Parks & Recreation Director, provided several operational updates, then asked board members to help recruit volunteers and nonprofit groups for the township's 250th anniversary event. Perry said nonprofits invited to the event are being asked not to sell or fundraise but to provide information about their work in the community.
The board adjourned at 7:30 p.m. on a motion by Savoroski, seconded by Watson. The next regular meeting is scheduled for May 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
