Fincastle council approves minutes, bills and treasurer's report; sets next meeting

At its Oct. 10 meeting the Fincastle Town Council approved routine administrative items including the minutes of Sept. 12, 2024, the monthly bills for September 2024 and the treasurer’s reports for June 2024.
The bills were approved as submitted with a recorded vote in the meeting minutes listing Mayor Mary Bess Smith, Ed Bordett, Jim Reynolds, John Thomas, Paige Ware and Bill Gaul voting yes; no no votes or abstentions were recorded for that vote in the minutes provided. The council accepted the treasurer’s reports as submitted. The council also discussed other matters briefly, including the mayor’s request for volunteers to assist with Christmas lights.
The council set its next regular meeting for Nov. 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
