Adair County commissioners approved an easement with Roy Thomas Easley to allow county crews to recover a culvert washed down a stream on Linderville Trail and to use donated dirt from Mr. Easley to replace the culvert. Commissioner King moved to approve the easement and Commissioner McHenry seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Shahan, King and McHenry recorded as voting aye.
Earlier in the week the commission interviewed candidates for an open seat on the Adair County Library Board, including Alan Garvy, Robin Pasa and Tara Winkler. After the interviews the commission voted to appoint Alan Garvy to the library board; the motion carried unanimously.
